Digital Platform Course / Curso de Plataformas Digitales

The Digital Platform Course for Middle School teachers is taking place in the Library Media Center in English and Spanish on several occasions during October. In this course MS teachers learn how to use the school Digital Platforms to search for good quality sources for their classes as well as to encourage them to develop a synergy with the Library. 

Teachers are vital in handling information matters in their class. There are lots of positive steps they can take to motivate students to use the school’s Library in order to aid their learning with secure, high quality resources.

El Curso de Plataformas Digitales para profesores de Middle School se lleva a cabo en el Centro de Medios de la Biblioteca en inglés y español en varias ocasiones durante el mes de octubre. En este curso, los profesores de MS aprenden a utilizar las plataformas digitales de la escuela para buscar recursos de buena calidad para sus clases, así como para animarlos a desarrollar una sinergia con la biblioteca. 

Los profesores son de vital importancia en el manejo de información en su clase. Hay un sin número pasos positivos que pueden tomar para motivar a los estudiantes a utilizar la biblioteca de la escuela para ayudarlos en su aprendizaje con recursos seguros y de alta calidad.

This weekend, the Jaguar spirit flooded the stands of the American Institute of Monterrey, with our 7th to 9th grade student teams participating in the ASOMEX soccer tournament. The girls' team achieved 5th place, and the boys' team brought home the 3rd place trophy! NHS, academic excellence, love for service, leadership and character

National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in the United States in 1921, hoping to create an organization that recognized and encouraged young people with four main purposes. “Create enthusiasm for academic achievement, stimulate the desire to serve, promote leadership, and develop character in students.” Now, after 102 years, NHS has become a prestigious, high-ranking organization among administrators, teachers, students, parents and residents of school communities. Its reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment by everyone involved. Through service activities, NHS members must maintain and expand the qualities for which they were chosen. Candidates were selected by a faculty council and now all must respect the ideals and values ​​of NHS to maintain membership status and graduate with honours. The John F.
