ASOMEX Soccer Results

This weekend, the Jaguar spirit flooded the stands of the American Institute of Monterrey, with our 7th to 9th grade student teams participating in the ASOMEX soccer tournament. The girls' team achieved 5th place, and the boys' team brought home the 3rd place trophy! Congratulations Jaguars for your excellent performance, and to all the JFK moms and dads who accompanied them with united and enthusiastic cheers during the tournament.

Este fin de semana, el espíritu Jaguar inundó las gradas del American Institute of Monterrey, con la participación en el torneo ASOMEX de soccer de nuestros equipos de alumnos de 7mo a 9no. El equipo femenil logró el 5to lugar y el varonil trajo a casa la copa de 3er lugar! Felicidades Jaguars por su excelente desempeño, y a todos los papás y mamás JFK que los acompañaron con una porra unida y entusiasta durante el torneo.

NHS, academic excellence, love for service, leadership and character

National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in the United States in 1921, hoping to create an organization that recognized and encouraged young people with four main purposes. “Create enthusiasm for academic achievement, stimulate the desire to serve, promote leadership, and develop character in students.” Now, after 102 years, NHS has become a prestigious, high-ranking organization among administrators, teachers, students, parents and residents of school communities. Its reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment by everyone involved. Through service activities, NHS members must maintain and expand the qualities for which they were chosen. Candidates were selected by a faculty council and now all must respect the ideals and values ​​of NHS to maintain membership status and graduate with honours. The John F.
