60th Art Celebration Project 1st Places Ceremony

Last October 10th we celebrated the 60th Art Celebration Project 1st Places Ceremony. This internal contest was held during September, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our school.

At the ceremony the firsts place winners from Preschool, Elementary and High School were recognized, as well as the Middle School first semester winners of this school year.

The winning artworks are being exhibited outside the Library Media Center and all the community can visit the exhibition until December, to celebrate the creativity and talent of our students.

El pasado 10 de octubre se llevó a cabo la premiación de los primeros lugares del 60th Art Celebration Project, concurso interno de arte visual que se realizó durante el mes de septiembre con motivo de la conmemoración del 60 aniversario de nuestra escuela.

En esta ceremonia, se nombró a los ganadores de los primeros lugares de Preschool, Elementary y High School, así como de los ganadores de Middle School de este primer semestre escolar.

Las obras ganadoras se encuentran exhibidas afuera de la biblioteca y podrán ser visitadas hasta diciembre por nuestra comunidad, para celebrar la creatividad y talento de nuestros alumnos.

This weekend, the Jaguar spirit flooded the stands of the American Institute of Monterrey, with our 7th to 9th grade student teams participating in the ASOMEX soccer tournament. The girls' team achieved 5th place, and the boys' team brought home the 3rd place trophy! Last Friday May 24th, our Middle School students enjoyer the Student Day Dance, an event full of music ans fun. NHS, academic excellence, love for service, leadership and character

National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in the United States in 1921, hoping to create an organization that recognized and encouraged young people with four main purposes. “Create enthusiasm for academic achievement, stimulate the desire to serve, promote leadership, and develop character in students.” Now, after 102 years, NHS has become a prestigious, high-ranking organization among administrators, teachers, students, parents and residents of school communities. Its reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment by everyone involved. Through service activities, NHS members must maintain and expand the qualities for which they were chosen.
