¡Bienvenidos a un nuevo ciclo escolar!

¡Estamos muy contentos de comenzar otro emocionante ciclo escolar aquí en el JFK y de compartir con ustedes lo que va sucediendo en el campus a través de JFK Buzz! Esta plataforma es la fuente para las últimas noticias, eventos y celebraciones dentro de nuestra comunidad escolar. Este año puede ser especialmente importante ya que celebramos nuestro 60 aniversario, con varios eventos durante todo el año. Les pedimos de favor tener en mente nuestro ambicioso proyecto de la construcción del nuevo High School y será con una mínima interrupción de las actividades en el campus: ¡colgaremos fotos y actualizaciones para que todos podamos ver el nuevo edificio a medida que crece y remodela nuestro campus!

Nos alegra mucho destacar los extraordinarios logros de nuestros alumnos, tanto dentro como fuera de las aulas. Si tienes una historia que compartir, no dudes en ponerte en contacto con nosotros:

Welcome Back to a New School Year!

We are so thrilled to be starting another exciting year here at JFK and to bring you our regular updates through JFK Buzz! This platform is your go-to source for all the latest news, events, and celebrations within our school community. This year may be especially important as we celebrate our 60 th anniversary, with lots of events throughout the year. Please also remember our ambitious project to build the new high school with minimum interruption to activities on campus: we will be posting picture and updates so we can all watch the new building as they grow and reshape our campus!

We love highlighting the extraordinary achievements of our students, both in and out of the classroom. If you have a story to share, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always happy to share and celebrate the successes of our amazing community on the JFK Buzz!

ASOMEX Soccer Results

This weekend, the Jaguar spirit flooded the stands of the American Institute of Monterrey, with our 7th to 9th grade student teams participating in the ASOMEX soccer tournament. The girls' team achieved 5th place, and the boys' team brought home the 3rd place trophy! Congratulations Jaguars for your excellent performance, and to all the JFK moms and dads who accompanied them with united and enthusiastic cheers during the tournament.    ---------------------------- Este fin de semana, el espíritu Jaguar inundó las gradas del American Institute of Monterrey, con la participación en el torneo ASOMEX de soccer de nuestros equipos de alumnos de 7mo a 9no. El equipo femenil logró el 5to lugar y el varonil trajo a casa la copa de 3er lugar! Felicidades Jaguars por su excelente desempeño, y a todos los papás y mamás JFK que los acompañaron con una porra unida y entusiasta durante el torneo.

MS Student Day Dance

Last Friday May 24th, our Middle School students enjoyer the Student Day Dance, an event full of music ans fun. Thank you to our Parents' Association for making this event possible, specially to Hely Ramírez from Cornelia Craft Party for the beautiful balloons' back. --------------------- El pasado viernes 24 de mayo, nuestros estudiantes de Middle School disfrutaron del Baile del Día del Estudiante, un evento lleno de música y diversión. Gracias a nuestra Asociación de Padres por hacer posible este evento, especialmente a Hely Ramírez de Cornelia Craft Party por el hermoso fondo de globos.

NHS, academic excellence, love for service, leadership and character

National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in the United States in 1921, hoping to create an organization that recognized and encouraged young people with four main purposes. “Create enthusiasm for academic achievement, stimulate the desire to serve, promote leadership, and develop character in students.” Now, after 102 years, NHS has become a prestigious, high-ranking organization among administrators, teachers, students, parents and residents of school communities. Its reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment by everyone involved. Through service activities, NHS members must maintain and expand the qualities for which they were chosen. Candidates were selected by a faculty council and now all must respect the ideals and values ​​of NHS to maintain membership status and graduate with honours. The John F.
