MS MUN Spring Training Event

Our Middle School MUN Spring Training Event involves the topics of "Removing Tangible Barriers for Children to Escape Poverty" in the United Nations Childrens' Fund and "Discussing the Accountability of the Soviet Union in the Chernobyl Disaster" in an historical General Assembly, in which our delegates will pretend it's 1986.  These topics invited vigorous debate, all the while helping our students polish their skills in parliamentary procedure.

Nuestro evento de capacitación de primavera para MUN in Middle School introdujo los temas de "Eliminar barreras tangibles para que los niños escapen de la pobreza" en el Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia y "Discutir la responsabilidad de la Unión Soviética en el desastre de Chernobyl" en una Asamblea General histórica, en la que nuestros delegados fingen que estamos en 1986. Estos temas invitaron a un debate vigoroso, al mismo tiempo que ayudaban a nuestros delegados a pulir sus habilidades en el procedimiento parlamentario.

This weekend, the Jaguar spirit flooded the stands of the American Institute of Monterrey, with our 7th to 9th grade student teams participating in the ASOMEX soccer tournament. The girls' team achieved 5th place, and the boys' team brought home the 3rd place trophy! NHS, academic excellence, love for service, leadership and character

National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in the United States in 1921, hoping to create an organization that recognized and encouraged young people with four main purposes. “Create enthusiasm for academic achievement, stimulate the desire to serve, promote leadership, and develop character in students.” Now, after 102 years, NHS has become a prestigious, high-ranking organization among administrators, teachers, students, parents and residents of school communities. Its reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment by everyone involved. Through service activities, NHS members must maintain and expand the qualities for which they were chosen. Candidates were selected by a faculty council and now all must respect the ideals and values ​​of NHS to maintain membership status and graduate with honours. The John F.   Multilingual Graduates Mark a Triumph in SWAS Program In a heartwarming celebration of cultural diversity and academic achievement, students Banu Duru Aydin, Saulius Charles Aubron,Seung Ah Baek, Asa James Annestedt, Dami Kim, Sung Chul Jeong,Seunga Kang, Mathias Emilio Besecker Frayre  from primary, middle, and high school gathered for a small graduation ceremony. These students, coming from Korea, France, the USA, and Turquia successfully completed the SWAS language program for Spanish and English. The ceremony served as a testament to their unwavering dedication and hard work. The graduates not only mastered the complexity of language but also forged bonds of understanding and friendship across borders. With their transition into mainstream classes, they carry forward their perspectives as multilinguals, equipped to bridge cultures and foster global connections.
