ASOMEX Principals Congress / Congreso Directores ASOMEX

Last weekend, the principals of our school gathered for an exciting congress that brought together representatives from ten ASOMEX Schools, ranging from Preschool to High School. The main purpose of this event was to foster networking and share best educational practices across the different school sections.

One of the prominent figures who participated in the congress was Kevin Bartlett, known as one of the creators of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and founder of the Common Ground Collaborative. Bartlett, who works with several schools worldwide, shared valuable insights and perspectives on education during the event.

It was an enriching experience that will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing development of our educational community.

El pasado fin de semana, los directores de nuestra escuela se reunieron en un emocionante congreso que reunió a representantes de diez escuelas ASOMEX, desde Preschool hasta High School. El propósito principal de este evento fue fomentar el networking y compartir las mejores prácticas educativas entre las diferentes secciones académicas.

Una de las destacadas figuras que participó en el congreso fue Kevin Bartlett, conocido como uno de los creadores del PYP (Primary Years Programme) y fundador del Common Ground Collaborative. Bartlett, que trabaja con varias escuelas en todo el mundo, compartió valiosos conocimientos y perspectivas sobre educación durante el evento.

Fue una experiencia enriquecedora que sin duda contribuirá al desarrollo continuo de nuestra comunidad educativa.

This weekend, the Jaguar spirit flooded the stands of the American Institute of Monterrey, with our 7th to 9th grade student teams participating in the ASOMEX soccer tournament. The girls' team achieved 5th place, and the boys' team brought home the 3rd place trophy! SWAS Graduation

  Multilingual Graduates Mark a Triumph in SWAS Program In a heartwarming celebration of cultural diversity and academic achievement, students Banu Duru Aydin, Saulius Charles Aubron,Seung Ah Baek, Asa James Annestedt, Dami Kim, Sung Chul Jeong,Seunga Kang, Mathias Emilio Besecker Frayre  from primary, middle, and high school gathered for a small graduation ceremony. These students, coming from Korea, France, the USA, and Turquia successfully completed the SWAS language program for Spanish and English. NHS, academic excellence, love for service, leadership and character

National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in the United States in 1921, hoping to create an organization that recognized and encouraged young people with four main purposes. “Create enthusiasm for academic achievement, stimulate the desire to serve, promote leadership, and develop character in students.” Now, after 102 years, NHS has become a prestigious, high-ranking organization among administrators, teachers, students, parents and residents of school communities. Its reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment by everyone involved. Through service activities, NHS members must maintain and expand the qualities for which they were chosen. Candidates were selected by a faculty council and now all must respect the ideals and values ​​of NHS to maintain membership status and graduate with honours. The John F.
