Bike-a-thon 2024

On Sunday, March 10, our annual "Bike-a-thon" event in support of the Querétaro Food Bank took place, organized with dedication by the National Honor Society students of High School. 

It was an event full of joy and participation where children, youth, teachers, and parents joined together for the same purpose. 

Each participant sought sponsors willing to contribute a voluntary donation for each lap on the bike or running on our track. We are deeply moved to see the unity, solidarity, enthusiasm, and human quality of all those who make this event possible. 

Thanks to the joint effort, we managed to raise nearly $23,000. This achievement shows the collaborative and generous spirit that characterizes our community.

El domingo 10 de marzo se llevó a cabo nuestro evento anual "Bikeathon" a favor del Banco de Alimentos de Querétaro, organizado con dedicación por los alumnos de National Honor Society (NHS) de High School.

Fue un evento lleno de alegría y participación donde niños, jóvenes, maestros y padres de familia, se unieron en un mismo propósito.

Cada participante buscó patrocinadores dispuestos a contribuir con un donativo voluntario por cada vuelta en bicicleta o corriendo en nuestra pista.  Nos emociona profundamente ver la unión, solidaridad, entusiasmo y calidad humana de todos los que hacen posible este evento. 

Gracias al esfuerzo conjunto, logramos recaudar cerca de $23,000. Este logro es un testimonio del espíritu colaborativo y generoso que caracteriza a nuestra comunidad.

NHS, academic excellence, love for service, leadership and character

National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in the United States in 1921, hoping to create an organization that recognized and encouraged young people with four main purposes. “Create enthusiasm for academic achievement, stimulate the desire to serve, promote leadership, and develop character in students.” Now, after 102 years, NHS has become a prestigious, high-ranking organization among administrators, teachers, students, parents and residents of school communities. Its reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment by everyone involved. Through service activities, NHS members must maintain and expand the qualities for which they were chosen. Candidates were selected by a faculty council and now all must respect the ideals and values ​​of NHS to maintain membership status and graduate with honours. The John F.
