NJHS Induction Ceremony

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is delighted and proud to have hosted the induction ceremony last week. The purpose of the induction ceremony is to celebrate and welcome new members who seek the light of truth guided by the five pillars that conform this special group: Service, Character, Scholarship, Leadership & Citizenship. 

Congratulations to you all! New members are: Andrea Alcántara, Kyra Vigueras, María de Jesús Guerra, Reneé Godelmann, Daniel Chung, Evolet Guerreto, Román Montes de Oca, Yeonwoo Kim, Jiin Park and Andrea Xihuitl.

La National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) celebró la ceremonia de inducción la semana pasada. El propósito de dicha ceremonia es celebrar y dar la bienvenida a nuevos miembros que buscan la luz de la verdad guiados por los cinco pilares que conforman este grupo especial: Servicio, Carácter, Erudición, Liderazgo y Ciudadanía.

This weekend, the Jaguar spirit flooded the stands of the American Institute of Monterrey, with our 7th to 9th grade student teams participating in the ASOMEX soccer tournament. The girls' team achieved 5th place, and the boys' team brought home the 3rd place trophy! These students, coming from Korea, France, the USA, and Turquia successfully completed the SWAS language program for Spanish and English. National Honor Society (NHS) was founded in the United States in 1921, hoping to create an organization that recognized and encouraged young people with four main purposes. “Create enthusiasm for academic achievement, stimulate the desire to serve, promote leadership, and develop character in students.” Now, after 102 years, NHS has become a prestigious, high-ranking organization among administrators, teachers, students, parents and residents of school communities. Its reputation for excellence is the result of years of commitment by everyone involved. Through service activities, NHS members must maintain and expand the qualities for which they were chosen. Candidates were selected by a faculty council and now all must respect the ideals and values ​​of NHS to maintain membership status and graduate with honours. The John F.
